AP Sign Ups - February 22 to March 5th. ~Cost $86 per exam. See Mrs.
Coleman in the main office to sign up.

Applications are now being accepted for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
also known as the RYLA. The weekend conference to take place from June 25
to June 27, 2010. Information and application in the March Newsletter, on
the sophomore list serve, or see Mrs. Coleman in the main office.

Students who took their CCHS Driver Ed exam on January 31 may review their
results at the Community Education office, L Building.  See Mrs. Zellner
after 1 PM this week.

Wonderful Town Tickets are now available online at www.ticketstage.com and
during lunch blocks all week. Students and Seniors $10 Adults $15.
The first two hearings of this year's Denis Cleary Moot Court Competition
will be held TODAY and Thursday this week at 2:30 sharp in H-5. All are
welcome.

Green Revolution meets TODAY after school in S-16 at 2:20.  Come be a part
of the new environmental club!  The Infrared camera and home energy
analysis equipment is in.  Come check it out.  We will be imaging the
school.

Sci-fi Club welcomes you back from vacation, with free pizza and
permission slips for a March trip to Laser Tag.  Come by our meeting TODAY
at 2:30 in H-12.  All are welcome.

Mrs. Brown's Freshmen make-up course selection meeting is TODAY, right
after school in the guidance department. 

JUNIORS: Don't forget your course selection meeting with your counselor
this week. Read the sign in the library for the floor location.

Haskins Freshmen make-up course selection meeting is Thursday, February 25
right after school in the guidance department.

Mrs. Goldrick's Freshmen make-up course selection meeting is Thursday,
February 25 right after school in the guidance office conference room #1.

All boys grades 9-12 interested in playing lacrosse this Spring 2:30
Thursday February 25 in the Café. 

FOR ALL THOSE INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT FOR SPRING TRACK AND FIELD, THERE
IS A MANDATORY MEETING ON THURSDAY AT 2:20 IN THE LOWER GYM. QUESTIONS SEE
MR. LANE IN SOCIAL STUDIES. THANKS!

Anyone interested in trying out for the varsity golf team in the fall must
attend a pre-season meeting on Tuesday, March 2 at 2:30 in Room S-26.~
Please see captains Tommy Bagley or John Steele with any questions.~ 

Environmental Field Studies meets every Friday after school in S-1.  New
members are always welcome.  This Friday, be prepared for an outside walk
regardless of weather!

Attention Students: The Fifth annual Community Service Fair will be held
during lunch blocks in the café on Tuesday, March 2. Checkout the
wonderful community service opportunities offered by the attending
agencies. Sign up and find out how you can earn community service credits.

Attention Seniors: Need community service hours or just simply want to
spend an afternoon with the senior citizens of Concord and Carlisle? Then
sign up for the CCHS St. Patrick's Day Luncheon on Saturday, March 13.
There is a sign up sheet next to Ms. Hammer's desk or you can email Nancy

The Concord Police Department and the Concord Rotary will be sponsoring
RAD for adult females. RAD is Rape Aggression Defense Systems, which is a
realistic self-defense program teaching risk reduction and avoidance
strategies, including hands-on defense training. RAD is not a martial arts
program. This is a four-week course using simple and easy to learn
techniques, providing an effective and proven method of self-defense for
females. High School females are encouraged to participate. RAD classes
will be held Tuesday evenings March 9, 16, 23 and 30, from Class 6:30PM to
approximately 8:45PM. The first class will be held at the Concord Police
Department. The remaining classes will be held at the Alcott School
gymnasium. Class size is limited, to register or for more information

CCHS Driver Education 
Classes begin in February, April and June. Limited enrollment, early
sign-up advised. You must be 15 years 10 months to begin, and 16 by the
final classroom date. Behind-the-wheel instruction is part of the program,
and you can begin after you take your first classroom section if you have
your Learners Permit. You should finish your required behind-the-wheel

classes ($625 for summer class unless prepaid by June 1) DE 109: Sunday,
