[CCHS] Reminder - CCHS Parents Association Annual Appeal

Dear Concord Carlisle High School Family,

 

Thank you to the many families who have responded to the CCHS Parents
Association Annual Appeal!    We are a volunteer-run organization and 100%
of your donations go towards funding school enrichment programs at CCHS.

 

As the Parents Association kicks off the 2010 Annual Appeal Campaign, we
encourage each and every family to participate.  Your gift, no matter the
size, will have an impact.  Your gift is tax deductible and matching gifts
are welcome.  Please make your check payable to the CCHS Parents Association
and mail it to: Ms. Barbara Yee - CCHS Annual Appeal, 45 Summit Street,
Concord, MA  01742.  The CCHS PA tax identification number is: 04-2748334.

 

Each year the CCHS Parents Association reviews faculty grant applications
and awards grants for deserving proposals that may range in size from
$200-$10,000.  Our goal is to support educational excellence and promote the
general-well being of students at CCHS.  These funds are awarded each spring
and fall to faculty and staff members who use them for innovative programs
and activities, both academic and non-academic. These grants benefit all
departments and students across all grade levels.  To this end a number of
exciting grants were awarded in the fall of 2009.  

 

English - updated and advanced Active Boards

Science -- high speed video camera    ActivExpressions    field guides

Health & Fitness -- resistance tethers   presenters during Health Week

Theater arts -- glassless mirrors

Fine arts -- flatbed scanner   33 mm cameras    high definition camcorder


photography books and videos

Clubs and Student Senate -- guest dance instructors, online voting software
