AP Sign Ups - February 22 to March 5th. ~Cost $86 per exam. See Mrs.
Coleman in the main office to sign up.

Applications are now being accepted for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
also known as the RYLA. The weekend conference to take place from June 25
to June 27, 2010. Information and application in the March Newsletter, on
the sophomore list serve, or see Mrs. Coleman in the main office.

Environmental Field Studies meets every Friday after school in S-1.  New
members are always welcome.  Come TODAY, be prepared for an outside walk
regardless of weather!

Make sure you sign up to audition for the CCHS talent show BEFORE 10pm
TODAY.  To sign up send an email to Tess Schubert at
aschubert11 at colonial.net that includes name(s) of everyone involved in
act, type of act, and any special equipment or setup required.  Students
and faculty welcome!

Wonderful Town starts tonight at 7:30 Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2:30,
tickets are now available online at www.ticketstage.com and during all
lunch blocks today through next week or at the door. Students and Seniors
$10 Adults $15. 

DURING HEALTH WEEK, Wii GAMING WILL MAKE AN APPEARANCE IN THE LIBRARY
DURING ALL LUNCH BLOCKS ON MONDAY, MARCH 1, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 3, AND
FRIDAY, MARCH 5.COME INTO THE LIBRARY AND SIGN UP TO PLAY Wii! BRING YOUR
FRIENDS AND COME JOIN IN THE FUN!!!

Students who took their CCHS Driver Ed exam on January 31 may review their
results at the Community Education office, L Building.  See Mrs. Zellner
after 1 PM this week.

JUNIORS: Don't forget your course selection meeting with your counselor
this week. Read the sign in the library for the floor location.
Ms. Haskins Sophomore and Junior make-up course selection meeting is
Monday, March 1st right after school in the guidance department.

Mrs. Goldrick's Sophomore make-up course selection meeting is Monday,
March 1st right after school in the guidance office conference room #1.

Congratulations~to the Boys Varsity Hockey Team for~an undefeated regular
season.~~Join us to Cheer on the~Patriot's~in their bid for the State
Championships beginning this Sunday at 6:10 PM at the Chelmsford Forum.~

Anyone interested in trying out for the varsity golf team in the fall must
attend a pre-season meeting on Tuesday, March 2 at 2:30 in Room S-26.~
Please see captains Tommy Bagley or John Steele with any questions.~ 

Attention Students: The Fifth annual Community Service Fair will be held
during lunch blocks in the café on Tuesday, March 2. Checkout the
wonderful community service opportunities offered by the attending
agencies. Sign up and find out how you can earn community service credits.

Attention creative writers, the deadline for the Short Story and
Non-Fiction contests has been extended to Monday, March 8. In an effort to
get more creative writers to submit, the minimum length of each submission
has been reduced to 1250 words. Remember, creative non-fiction can be
stories about yourself that are told in an original and exciting way.
Everyone has a story to tell, send us yours and stand a good chance of
winning generous cash prizes!  Please email or deliver you submissions to
Lucy Fandel or Mr. Pickman and have fun writing!

Attention Seniors: Need community service hours or just simply want to
spend an afternoon with the senior citizens of Concord and Carlisle? Then
sign up for the CCHS St. Patrick's Day Luncheon on Saturday, March 13.
There is a sign up sheet next to Ms. Hammer's desk or you can email Nancy

The Concord Police Department and the Concord Rotary will be sponsoring
RAD for adult females. RAD is Rape Aggression Defense Systems, which is a
realistic self-defense program teaching risk reduction and avoidance
strategies, including hands-on defense training. RAD is not a martial arts
program. This is a four-week course using simple and easy to learn
techniques, providing an effective and proven method of self-defense for
females. High School females are encouraged to participate. RAD classes
will be held Tuesday evenings March 9, 16, 23 and 30, from Class 6:30PM to
approximately 8:45PM. The first class will be held at the Concord Police
Department. The remaining classes will be held at the Alcott School
gymnasium. Class size is limited, to register or for more information

CCHS Driver Education 
Classes begin in February, April and June. Limited enrollment, early
sign-up advised. You must be 15 years 10 months to begin, and 16 by the
final classroom date. Behind-the-wheel instruction is part of the program,
and you can begin after you take your first classroom section if you have
your Learners Permit. You should finish your required behind-the-wheel

classes ($625 for summer class unless prepaid by June 1) DE 109: Sunday,

CCHS Driver Education: Parent Class
The next Parent Class for CCHS Driver Ed will be held Wednesday, March 3,
7-9 PM in L Bldg. The Registry requires this course for parents of
students in CC Driver Ed. If you plan to take a spring or summer Driver Ed
course at CCHS, come on March 3, or the next class, May 10. No
pre-registration is required.
