ANOTHER REMINDER TO STUDENTS AND PARENTS -- NO PARKING IN THE LOWER GYM
PARKING LOT, WHICH INCLUDES THE GRASS AREAS, BEFORE, DURING
AND AFTER SCHOOL!!
FAMILY VACATIONS AND END OF YEAR ABSENCE Parents and students are reminded
that Massachusetts Law requires compulsory attendance for students. We
strongly discourage family
vacations when school is in session. In addition to compromising the
attendance law, family vacations interrupt the educational process of each
course in ways that make-up work cannot reverse. If family vacations are
planned, an email (mailto: [ mailto:pbadalament at colonial.net
]pbadalament at colonial.net or [ mailto:mhammer at colonial.net
]mhammer at colonial.net) the parent/guardian must be submitted to the
principal at least 1 month before the vacation date. Please note that
teachers are not required to make special provisions for students who miss
school for family vacations.
