FAMILY VACATIONS AND END OF YEAR ABSENCE Parents and students are reminded
that Massachusetts Law requires compulsory attendance for students. We
strongly discourage family vacations when school is in session. In
addition to compromising the attendance law, family vacations interrupt
the educational process of each course in ways that make-up work cannot
reverse. If family vacations are planned, an email
(pbadalament at colonial.net and mhammer at colonial.net) from the
parent/guardian must be submitted to the principal at least 1 month before
the vacation date. Please note that teachers are not required to make
special provisions for students who miss school for family vacations.

Are you interested in running for a position in the Student Senate or
Class government? Then come to a brief informational meeting Today, right
after school in S-12. You will receive information on the positions, as
well as a packet to fill out.

Come to the meeting of the Interact club TODAY 2:20 in H-16; be there to
talk about the upcoming talent show and our local service project!

Several biology classes are raising praying mantids again this year. We
need a LOT of 2 liter bottles. Clear are best, but green are okay. If
possible, please rinse before dropping off in the Science Dept. Office or
