Attention all sophomores, tickets for the sophomore semi ñ TODAY is the
last day.  They will be on sale in the cafe for $20 per person during all
lunch blocks. No tickets will be sold after vacation so buy them now!!

Join the Environmental Field Studies Group after school Friday in S-1.  We
will head to the woods to read a selection from Thoreau's journals and
then write some of our own reflections while enjoying the beautiful
weather.

Attention prom goers.  Bonardis Tux shop will be in school for tux
ordering on Wednesday April 28th during all three lunch blocks.  They will
be offering pickup and drop-off of the tuxes here at CC.

CCHS's radio station WIQH is looking for next year's student managers. 
There are lots of positions available to all CCHS students.  The
application deadline is April 27.  Check complete information posted at
the radio station and online at www.WIQH.org.

Patriot Productions is launching a CCHS television news broadcast,
"Patriot News." If you would like to be a writer, a reporter, or part of
the production crew we can use you! This is your chance to get in on the
ground floor of what will become a regular news feature for the school and
the towns of Concord and Carlisle. See Mr. Sapp in the English Department,
or Mr. Paige in CCTV, for more information.

 Attention Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen: The Bridge, CCHS's yearbook,
is looking for staff to help produce the 2011 yearbook. We need people
interested in layout and design, photography, writing, and running a small
business. There will be an information meeting in S-8 on Monday, April 26
at 2:30. See Mr. Sapp in English if you can help.

Concord Carlisle High Schoolís Youth in Philanthropy club is sponsoring a
work day on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 9AM-3PM. High school students will
be available during those hours to help around the house, babysit, do yard
work, or clean. The cost is $10/hour/person. The purpose of this workday
is to raise money for non-profit organizations of the Metro West area. If

Need some help with spring clean up?  On Saturday, April 24, the
Concord-Carlisle High School baseball teams will hold their annual
workday.  The players will rake, haul, spread mulch and perform light yard
work for residents of Concord and Carlisle.  The fee is $12 per player per
hour and all proceeds go to the CCHS Baseball program.  Shifts run from 9
a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m., with a minimum of 2 players per 3 hour

CCHS Driver Education- Spring & Summer Classes announced
CCHS Driver Education classes start April 27, June 28 and August 2.
Limited enrollment, early sign-up advised. You must be 15 years 10 months
to begin, and 16 by the final classroom date. Behind-the-wheel instruction
is included.
Fee: $600 for Spring classes ($625 for June 28 class unless prepaid by
June 1)
DE 110: Tuesday and Thursday, April 27-June 15, 2:15-4:15 PM, CCHS
DE 111: Monday thru Thursday, June 28-July 22 6:00-8:00 PM, CCHS
DE 112: Monday thru Thursday, August 2-25, 8:00-10:00 AM, CCHS
CCHS will not offer an accelerated classroom schedule for Driver
Education. The 15-class schedule over 4 weeks during the summer is our
most accelerated version of the mandated curriculum. You may make up
specific classes missed in one course at a later course. Course and

Students who have done well in Biology or Chemistry may be considering
taking the Subject Test in (formerly SAT II). Community Education offers
an optional, fee-based course that emphasizes content materials on the SAT
II. This content may not have been addressed specifically in the regular
curriculum, which is not geared toward any particular exam. Course fee
includes text. Courses are:
Biology E/M: 6 Thursdays, 2:30-4:30 PM, April 29-June 3, $150 (course 4712)
Biology E/M: 4 Sundays, 2:00-5:00 PM, May 2-23, $150 (course 4713)
Chemistry: 4 Sundays, 2:00-5:00 PM, May 2-23, $150 (course 4714)

CCHS Boys Lacrosse Spring Clean Up Fund Raiser! Saturday May 1st and
Sunday May 2nd, the boyís lacrosse players will be available for your
spring yard clean up needs. All proceeds go directly to "Friends or
Lacrosse" to help support the Freshman, JV and Varsity teams. Please

Bring a laptop or pen and paper. This is a group class but each student
will have a brief private consultation with the teacher about the essay

Workshops. After a career in public relations, she now focuses on
