College Visits TODAY 11:00-12:30 the following colleges will be visiting
this week outside the CCHS Guidance Department: Dickinson College, Roanoke
College and Franklin Pierce University. All students are welcome to stop
by and meet the representatives.

Celebrate National Library Week in the CCHS Learning Commons! Students and
teachers are invited to come Thursday during lunch blocks to play board
games! Pick up a Learning Commons Scavenger Hunt starting Monday. The
winner gets a free pizza! Winner announced TODAY.

Junior Prom is here; get your tickets.  The junior prom will be held at
the Burlington Marriott on Friday May 14th.  Tickets will be on sale from
TODAY through Friday May 7th during all lunch blocks.  See any of your
class officers with any questions you may have.

The Environmental Field Studies Group will be meeting Friday after school
in S-1.  This week, we will be taking a look at inhabitants of a local
vernal pool.  Dress accordingly!

THE VOICE WILL BE HOLDING ITS MONTHLY MEETING ON FRIDAY, APRIL 30TH AT
2:15 IN H-12.  ANYONE INTERESTED IN WRITING FOR THE NEW ONLINE VERSION OF
THE VOICE IS WELCOME.  NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.  COME AND BE THE VOICE OF
YOUR SCHOOL!

Concord Carlisle High Schoolís Youth in Philanthropy club is sponsoring a
work day on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 9AM-3PM. High school students will
be available during those hours to help around the house, babysit, do yard
work, or clean. The cost is $10/hour/person. The purpose of this workday
is to raise money for non-profit organizations of the Metro West area. If

Hey there, kids! ~Have you ever heard someone speak backwards? ~Do you
want to see Mr. Shakespeare rap?! ~Come to the CCHS Talent Show hosted by
the Interact Club. ~All proceeds will go to the Iranian Railroad for Queer
Refugees, an organization helping gay people to safely leave Iran.
~Friday, May 7 at 7pm in the auditorium. See you there!

Students who have done well in Biology or Chemistry may be considering
taking the Subject Test in (formerly SAT II). Community Education offers
an optional, fee-based course that emphasizes content materials on the SAT
II. This content may not have been addressed specifically in the regular
curriculum, which is not geared toward any particular exam. Course fee
includes text. Courses are:
Biology E/M: 6 Thursdays, 2:30-4:30 PM, April 29-June 3, $150 (course 4712)
FILLED!! Biology E/M: 4 Sundays, 2:00-5:00 PM, May 2-23, $150 (course 4713)
Chemistry: 4 Sundays, 2:00-5:00 PM, May 2-23, $150 (course 4714)

Miracle League Baseball is looking for buddy volunteers to help children

Improve Your College Application Essay

Are you a rising senior preparing for your college application essay(s)?
Do you stare at the few lines you've managed to crank out, and get stuck?
Learn the tips to break through that frustration and complete your essay.
Bring a laptop or pen and paper. This is a group class but each student
will have a brief private consultation with the teacher about the essay
topic. Mindy Pollack-Fusi teacher is the owner of The Place for Words &
Workshops. After a career in public relations, she now focuses on
