[CCHS] CCHS event: Understanding, Support and Coping with Loss - Wednesday, May 5th 7 pm

Dear CCHS Parents, 

 

We as a school community are coping with another incredible loss to our
community. The CCHS Parents Association has invited Dr. Nancy Rappaport to
speak to parents on Wednesday, May 5th at 7:00 pm at the CCHS Library.
Kelli Kirshtein, CCHS Counselor, and Roberta Hurtig from the Good Samaritans
will be available at the discussion also. Please join us at that time.

Understanding, Supporting and Coping with Loss

 

Wednesday, May 5th at 7 PM -- CCHS Library

 

Dr. Rappaport is a renowned child psychiatrist on the faculty of Harvard
Medical School.  She has worked for 18 years in the Cambridge Public Schools
as an attending child psychiatrist, in private practice, and has been a lead
author of the national clinical guidelines for school consultation. She most
recently wrote a memoir: In her Wake: a Child Psychiatrist Explores the
Mystery of her Mother's Suicide.
