The Christian Club was initiated in 2008. TODAY it will meet in H-1 from
7:05-7:25. Everyone is welcome.
Please come to the last Ruettgers event of the year, Grammar Rules! A rich
and intriguing presentation about language and meaning presented by our
own linguistic expert, Jere Mead, this Thursday, May 6 at 2:30 in the
Little Theater.
The semi-final competition of the Denis Cleary Moot Court Competition will
be held on TODAY May 6 in the upper library. Maddie Vahey and Josh
Eisenstat against Jacob Addelson and Alex Daniels will argue the first
case at 7:00 pm. Michelle Solomon and Tommy Veitch against Alex Japko and
Sam Atwood will argue the second at approximately 8:30 pm. We look
forward to a marvelous competition.
Attention Seniors: The class of 2010 will be sponsoring a free prom bus
again this year. The bus will depart from the high school the night of
prom and will return at the end of the evening. Spaces are limited so
please sign up at Ms. Hammerís desk if interested.
Senior prom tickets will be sold all lunch blocks starting TODAY, until
Friday May 14. Tickets are thirty dollars. In order to purchase your
ticket you must pay with your entire table of ten people, however,
everyone does not need to be present.
The Senior Week Package Deal, which includes prom tickets and Six Flags
tickets, ends this Friday May 7th. Both prom tickets and Six Flag tickets
will be available through the end of next week; however, they will be sold
separately. No exceptions!
The prom bus sign-up sheet and out-of-school guest forms are in the main
office. Please see Mrs. Hammer if you want to sign up or need a guest
form. There are two buses reserved for those who are interested- sign up
is on a first come, first served basis. There is no additional fee for
the bus.
If your prom ticket and 6 Flag money was sent in to school, you still need
to see the class officers during one of the lunch blocks to reserve your
table. Don't forget this!!!
Bonardi's Tuxes will be here on Wednesday, May 19th during all lunch
blocks for fittings.
Seniors... Come to the CCHS Library and share your plans for next year.
The annual CCHS Library bulletin board celebrating, "Seniors on the Move"
is now on display. Please sign your name on the clipboard in the library
and we will add your name to the map. You may share your plans regarding
a job, travel or the college you plan to attend. All seniors are welcome
to participate.
Junior Prom is here; get your tickets. The junior prom will be held at
the Burlington Marriott on Friday May 14th. Tickets will be on sale from
TODAY through Friday May 7th during all lunch blocks. See any of your
class officers with any questions you may have.
Hey. What are YOU doing Friday night? ~Well, I'm going to the CCHS Talent
Show; I hear it's going to be awesome. This generic student dialogue is
correct! ~Come see students perform in the CCHS Talent Show, run by the
Interact Club,~this Friday, May 7, at 7:00 in the auditorium. ~Tickets are
now being sold in the cafe for $8, $10 at the door. All~proceeds will go
to the Iranian Railroad for Queer Refugees, an organization helping gay
people to safely leave Iran. You'll even get to hear Shakespeare rap!
Friday after school, the Environmental Field Studies Group will meet in
S-1 prior to heading off to explore the inhabitants of the Town Forest's
vernal pool and the nearby pond. Looks like it will be another beautiful
day. Check the weather ahead of time and dress appropriately. See you
then!
COME TO THE SENIOR PROJECT FAIR ON MONDAY AT 6:00PM IN THE LIBRARY TO SEE
THE PRESENTATIONS FROM THE 2010 SENIOR PROJECT STUDENTS. THERE WILL BE
FOOD AND PERFORMANCES - ALL ARE WELCOME.

Miracle League Baseball is looking for buddy volunteers to help children
with disabilities play baseball. The games will be played on Saturdays

CCHS Driver Education Parent Class
The RMV requires parents to participate in a 2-hour class in order for a
student to complete Driver Education. The Parent Class covers how the CCHS
program works, Registry regulations, and information about how to fulfill
the parent expectation for 40 hours of supervised driving. The class is
open to all parents, free of charge, and is advised for parents of
students currently enrolled in CCHS Driver Ed or intending to take one of
the summer classes.

Thursday, July 8, 6-8 PM (H Bldg)
Thursday, August 12, 7-9 PM (H Bldg)

Beautification Day for CCHS
Would you like to see a more attractive Concord Carlisle High School? The
CCHS Beautification Committee needs you! Whether you are a CCHS parent,
student, or member of the community, join us on Saturday, May 8 from 10 to
noon at the high school to help plant shrubs and perennials and spruce up
the campus before graduation. Gardeners, those looking for an upper body
workout, and plant contributors are welcome. Coffee will be served and
community service credit will be given. Bring gloves, tools, and buckets

optimum time to set the strategies in place and why if you wait until the

Do you stare at the few lines you've managed to crank out, and get stuck?
Learn the tips to break through that frustration and complete your essay.
Bring a laptop or pen and paper. This is a group class but each student
will have a brief private consultation with the teacher about the essay
topic. Mindy Pollack-Fusi teacher is the owner of The Place for Words &
Workshops. After a career in public relations, she now focuses on
