Driver Education class Sunday May 9 will NOT meet. 
The make-up will be on Wednesday, May 12, 7-9 PM, at CCHS L Bldg.
This is class #10 in the 15 sessions Driver Ed curriculum.
An alternate make-up session for #10 will be on Tuesday, June 1, 2:15-4:15
at CCHS L Bldg.

Amnesty International will meet today at 5 p.m. in room H16. Please join
us to help with our human rights campaign and to be a part of the planning

COME TO THE SENIOR PROJECT FAIR ON MONDAY AT 6:00PM IN THE LIBRARY TO SEE
THE PRESENTATIONS FROM THE 2010 SENIOR PROJECT STUDENTS.  THERE WILL BE
FOOD AND PERFORMANCES - ALL ARE WELCOME.

Seniors... Come to the CCHS Library and share your plans for next year.
The annual CCHS Library bulletin board celebrating, "Seniors on the Move"
is now on display.  Please sign your name on the clipboard in the library
and we will add your name to the map.  You may share your plans regarding
a job, travel or the college you plan to attend.  All seniors are welcome
to participate.  

Bonardi's will bring Junior Prom tuxes to the high school cafeteria for
pick during all three lunch blocks~on Wednesday, May 12. Payment is
required prior to pick-up and can be made via cash or credit card
(Mastercard, Visa, or debit card) that day. Parents are also welcome to
call Bonardi's with credit card information in advance (1-800-752-4036).
Please Note: It is highly recommended that the boys try everything on when
they get home.~ Sometimes fit needs to be adjusted and it is much easier
to make a quick trip to the store in Framingham on Wednesday/Thursday as
compared to Friday. May 14.~ Tux~return will be Monday, May 17 to the van
in the student parking lot before school between 6:30 and 7:30 AM.
If~students miss the van, it will be the responsibility of the family to
return the tux to the Framingham store that day. If you have questions,
please feel free to call Bonardi's directly at 1-800-752-4036.

On Thursday May 13th at 6pm in the CCHS Little Theater, the Hooked On
Science "Careers in STEM seminar seriesî presents Paul Sellew, the CEO and
Cofounder of Harvest Power Inc.  The title of his talk is "My Journey to
Defining a New Path for Empowering Organic Waste".  Please join us to
better understand the uses and benefits of recycling organic waste.  Pizza
will be served at 5:30.  All are welcome!!!!!

ON THURSDAY MAY 13TH AT 7PM IN THE UPPER LIBRARY, The World Cultures
Reading Group presents "An Evening with Dick and Doris: A Discussion with
Richard Goodwin, moderated by Doris Kearns Goodwin." Mr. Goodwin will
discuss his career in politics, in theater, and the intersection of the
two. The event is FREE and open to the public. Questions see Mr. Lane in
the Social Studies department.

Come cheer on the CCHS Baseball team as they face members of Concord
Police and Fire on May 16th at 2pm at Emerson Field. ~Admission is $2.
~~Earlier in the day, starting at 10am will be food, music, raffles,
crafts and games for kids. ~All proceeds benefit Concord's 375th birthday
celebration.

Miracle League Baseball is looking for buddy volunteers to help children
with disabilities play baseball. The games will be played on Saturdays

CCHS Driver Education Parent Class
The RMV requires parents to participate in a 2-hour class in order for a
student to complete Driver Education. The Parent Class covers how the CCHS
program works, Registry regulations, and information about how to fulfill
the parent expectation for 40 hours of supervised driving. The class is
open to all parents, free of charge, and is advised for parents of
students currently enrolled in CCHS Driver Ed or intending to take one of
the summer classes.
Parent class dates are:
Monday, May 10, 7-9 PM (L Bldg)
Thursday, July 8, 6-8 PM (H Bldg)
Thursday, August 12, 7-9 PM (H Bldg)

Are you a rising senior preparing for your college application essay(s)?
Do you stare at the few lines you've managed to crank out, and get stuck?
Learn the tips to break through that frustration and complete your essay.
Bring a laptop or pen and paper. This is a group class but each student
will have a brief private consultation with the teacher about the essay
topic. Mindy Pollack-Fusi teacher is the owner of The Place for Words &
Workshops. After a career in public relations, she now focuses on
journalism and creative writing and writes for The Boston Globe.  See
