Seniors. Please complete your Senior Wellness visits before June 1.
Screenings will be done everyday from 7:30 to 1:00 until that date.
Seniors... Come to the CCHS Library and share your plans for next year.
The annual CCHS Library bulletin board celebrating, "Seniors on the Move"
is now on display. Please sign your name on the clipboard in the library
and we will add your name to the map. You may share your plans regarding
a job, travel or the college you plan to attend. All seniors are welcome
to participate.
ATTENTION ALL SENIORS TRANSCRIPT MONEY IS DUE NOW. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE
YOUR CAP & GOWNUNLESS THIS IS PAID IN FULL. PLEASE INFORM MRS. TESSARI OF
YOUR FINAL DECISION OR OF ANY OTHER PLANS THAT YOU MAY HAVE FOR THE YEAR
FOLLOWING GRADUATION.
The History Reading Group will meet this afternoon at 2:20 in H-6. We
will be talking about the challenges Hispanic politicians face in areas of
the country where Hispanics make up large percentages of the population.
We will also look at the Hispanic reaction to Arizona's recent
anti-immigration law.
All are welcome to join us if interested.
Attention seniors: Today is the last day to purchase tickets for the prom
and Six Flags. Tickets are being sold during lunch blocks in the
cafeteria. There are no exceptions for the deadline!
Hey there, did you know that the CCHS Dance Club is sponsoring its CC
FIGHTS BACK FOR HAITI DANCE CONCERT this Saturday, at 7:30? Don't miss it!
It promises to be even better than last year's show! Bring a friend or
two and support us for such a great cause! Tickets are on sale during
all lunches. Donations are welcome, too!
Come cheer on the CCHS Baseball team as they face members of Concord
Police and Fire on May 16th at 2pm at Emerson Field. ~Admission is $2.
~~Earlier in the day, starting at 10am will be food, music, raffles,
crafts and games for kids. ~All proceeds benefit Concord's 375th birthday
celebration.
All students interested in playing boys basketball next season, there will
be a meeting this Tuesday May 18th at 215 in the gym modular to distribute
summer information. If you are involved in spring sport, please stop by
right after school to pick up a packet.

Volunteers needed to help out during the Thoreau School Road Race this
Sunday, May 16 (11:00 - 2:00). ~Community Service hours will be earned for

Driver Education class Sunday May 9 did not meet.
The make-up will be on Wednesday, May 12, 7-9 PM, at CCHS L Bldg. Room #4
This is class #10 in the 15 sessions Driver Ed curriculum.
An alternate make-up session for #10 will be on Tuesday, June 1,
2:15-4:15 at CCHS L Bldg in Room L-4
CCHS Driver Education Parent Class
The RMV requires parents to participate in a 2-hour class in order for a
student to complete Driver Education. The Parent Class covers how the CCHS
program works, Registry regulations, and information about how to fulfill
the parent expectation for 40 hours of supervised driving. The class is
open to all parents, free of charge, and is advised for parents of
students currently enrolled in CCHS Driver Ed or intending to take one of
the summer classes.
Parent class dates are:
Thursday, July 8, 6-8 PM (H Bldg)
Thursday, August 12, 7-9 PM (H Bldg)
Pre-registration is not required.

Do you stare at the few lines you've managed to crank out, and get stuck?
Learn the tips to break through that frustration and complete your essay.
Bring a laptop or pen and paper. This is a group class but each student
will have a brief private consultation with the teacher about the essay
topic. Mindy Pollack-Fusi teacher is the owner of The Place for Words &
Workshops. After a career in public relations, she now focuses on
journalism and creative writing and writes for The Boston Globe. See
