OUR 180th DAY of SCHOOL!!!
Juniors are reminded to return their locks to Mrs. Trainor in the main
office this week. If you need a locker next year you can see her in Sept.
ALL students are reminded to clean out your lockers this week.
Students who took their driver ed exam on Thursday, June 17 should see
Mrs. Zellner in the Community Ed office so that their grades can be
entered into the computer.
Attention Class of 2012 and 2011: Open campus information and parent
permission slips are on-line at CCHS student news and the CCHS website.
Please read the information memo with your parents and then complete the
permission slip.
All students can pick up their yearbooks at the yearbook office next to
S8. Anyone who didn't order a yearbook can still buy one--just make a
check out to CCHS for $86.
Congratulations to all who participated in the 2nd Annual Adrian Martinez
Classic, on Thursday evening at Concord's track. Timothy Ritchie won the
elite men's mile in 4:10; Stephanie Reilly won the elite women's mile in
4:38. Mary Harada broke the world mile record for the 75-and older age
group. And the CCHS team of Abby Cramer, Nikita Rajgopal, and Samantha
Lozada won the girls scholastic team race. Overall the event raised over
$5,000 for the Adrian A. Martinez Memorial Scholarship Fund and the
Friends of CCHS Track & Field. Thanks to everyone who helped put on the
event.

teach classes to ALL levels, ages 12-Adult in Concord Academy's
state-of-the-art dance studio.

June 29th, Children's Hospital is coming to Concord to help with Girl
Scout Troop 3960's blood drive.
The Blood Mobile will be at Crosby's Marketplace from 1pm to 6pm, and
every donor will receive a t-shirt, a plant, and a feeling of happiness
that can only come from saving someone's life. Donors must be 16 years old
and have parental permission, and will get community service hours. Please

PSAT, SAT and ACT online prep:
CCHS and the Community Ed department host several SAT prep courses with
Kaplan each year, and others with Summit Education. Kaplan will start
classes in July and August, and Summit in early September.
Kaplan also offers a free online prep course, available to CCHS students,
that is a partial version of their full for-fee course. A flyer with
information is available at the main office, Community Ed office, or by
contacting Mary Zellner at 318-1432. Contact ace at colonial.net for more

The Community Education program offers a variety of enrichment programs in
Concord Schools this summer. For complete listings see the current course
