RAD is Rape Aggression Defense Systems, which is a realistic self-defense program teaching risk reduction and avoidance strategies, including hands-on defense training. RAD is not a martial arts program. This is a four-week course using simple and easy to learn techniques, providing an effective and proven method of self-defense for females. High School females are encouraged to participate. RAD classes will be held Tuesday evenings March 9, 16, 23 and 30, from Class 6:30PM to approximately 8:45PM. The first class will be held at the Concord Police Department. The remaining classes will be held at the Alcott School gymnasium.
